Sem 2 week 8

Continuing from last week, I kept animating my scenes. This week I was able to animate 11 out of the 16 planned animations. This consists of the daytime scenes at the farm and a few in Mikey's room. Mikey's room interior shots were fairly quick to plan out as I have my rough cut from last semesters submission to base them off of. I did not document much of this process as it was the same as last weeks steps. During each scene I made sure to do a test render for one scene to ensure lighting was optimal and ready to render fully later. For longer movements, I also made sure to do a playblast render to make sure the movements were fluid and timed correctly.

Whilst I was animating, I also started making a balloon pop simulation with the cloth feature in Blender. The strings were also made from cloth simulations as the hanged freely. When it came to the balloon, I had to adjust the pressure, density, and gravity settings so that they flew in the same motion as balloons would in real life. I followed several tutorials to achieve the right level for each of these settings to get a realistic outcome. Creating the pop was a bit more difficult as I had to manually cut the balloon into sections and shape key animate each piece flying away after the pop. This process took quite a while and delayed my regular animation for a little while. The end result however was worth the time spent making it.
